What is Commercial Umbrella Insurance?

This is an insurance policy that covers liability in excess of other commercial insurance policies and also primary insurance for losses not covered by the other policies. If an insured’s business is liable to someone, the primary insurance policies pay up to their limits and any additional amount is paid by the umbrella policy up to the stated coverage limit.
